At the end of Edo period in 1810 our comapny first opened a pottery shop in Nagoya.
It was at the peak of Edo culture in Japan.
The ceramic was well receibed by the public and we began selling porcelain products, which are known as "Traditional Japanese porcelain".
Previously our company was selling oil for lantern lights.
We chaned our name to Kameya which means pot-shop in Japanese. Our name inspires us to pass tradtion down.
